Telegram ban NEET – Bharat Pulse News

AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has criticised the Centre’s temporary action against Telegram ahead of the NEET-UG re-examination, saying that banning a messaging platform will not stop paper leaks. He argued that authorities must act against the organised networks behind exam fraud instead of taking symbolic steps. Kejriwal On Telegram Ban And Paper Leaks Kejriwal said shutting down Telegram would not address the root cause of paper leaks. He questioned whether such measures could prevent exam papers from being leaked or circulated through other channels. The remarks came amid controversy over restrictions placed on Telegram ahead of the NEET-UG re-exam. The government’s action was linked to concerns that the platform was being misused to spread leaked papers and scam-related content. NEET UG Re Exam Security Measures The NEET-UG re-examination has triggered heightened security measures after earlier allegations of irregularities and paper leaks. Authorities have taken steps to prevent further malpractice and protect the integrity of the exam. Kejriwal, however, said the focus should be on identifying and punishing those involved in the paper leak network. He alleged that the paper leak system had become a large racket and claimed that superficial restrictions would not solve the problem. Telegram Ban Sparks Political Row The Telegram restriction has become a political issue, with opposition leaders accusing the government of punishing students and users instead of acting against those responsible for exam fraud. The debate has also raised wider questions about examination security, digital platforms and accountability in competitive exams. The controversy comes at a time when students and parents are demanding stronger action to ensure fair and transparent testing.
