Tarique Rahman, leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), is set to take oath as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh following his party’s decisive electoral victory, marking a major political shift in the country after years of Awami League rule. The event is scheduled for late afternoon local time and will be administered by the President of Bangladesh in accordance with constitutional procedure. International Delegations And Attendees Representatives from neighbouring countries, diplomats stationed in Dhaka and regional organisations are expected to attend the ceremony. Invitations were extended to South Asian leaders and key international partners, reflecting Bangladesh’s strategic importance in regional politics and trade. Foreign missions have confirmed participation at ambassadorial and ministerial levels, while security agencies are coordinating protocols for visiting delegations.
