Bangladesh Mob Killing In Kushtia The victim was identified in local reports as Shamim Reza, also known as Jahangir, who ran a religious shrine or darbar in the Philipnagar area of Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia. Viral Video Triggers Religious Outrage According to reports from Bangladesh, the crowd was angered by allegations that the spiritual leader had made comments viewed as insulting to Islam. The video quickly circulated on social media, drawing people to the site. In several local accounts, the attack was described not only as a beating but also as a violent assault in which the shrine premises were damaged and some sections were set on fire. Police Response And Law And Order Questions Police later reached the spot and began investigating the incident.
