Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based private space company, has successfully completed a major test of its Kalam-1200 rocket booster—the powerful first stage of its upcoming Vikram-1 launch vehicle. The test, known as a “static test,” took place at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. During this, the booster fired its engines while securely anchored to
