Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising North East Investors Summit 2025 on May 23 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. In his address, PM Modi described the region as “Ashta Lakshmi,” symbolizing eight forms of wealth represented by the eight northeastern states of India.
