National Security Adviser Ajit Doval has firmly rebutted reports suggesting India suffered any damage during Operation Sindoor. Speaking at the convocation ceremony of IIT Madras, Doval said that none of the foreign media outlets making such claims have presented even a single satellite image proving any harm to Indian military or civilian infrastructure. He directly challenged them to do so, stating, “Show me one image if there’s any damage to India.” Operation Was Swift and Precise Doval described Operation Sindoor as a highly coordinated and brief operation, lasting just 23 minutes. He explained that Indian forces struck nine terror-linked targets located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with pinpoint accuracy. According to Doval, the strikes were carried out using domestically developed weapons and technologies, ensuring minimal risk of collateral damage. India's Strategic Message Emphasising the importance of narrative control, Doval said the operation sent a strong signal to adversaries and their backers. He warned that the spread of disinformation could undermine India’s credibility and mislead the international community. He stressed that while Pakistan attempted to present a distorted version of events, the facts remain verifiable through satellite evidence, all of which clearly show no damage on Indian soil. Focus on Indigenous Capability The NSA also highlighted India’s progress in indigenous defence manufacturing. He credited India's scientific and defence ecosystem for supplying the tools used in the operation, reinforcing the nation’s self-reliance and strategic autonomy in military matters. Doval’s statement is being seen as a strong rebuttal not just to Pakistani propaganda, but also to global media narratives that fail to verify facts before publishing. His message adds pressure on international platforms to maintain accountability and avoid becoming echo chambers for hostile misinformation.
