Tejashwi Yadav pledges pension, allowance rise for Panchayati Raj reps

In a major pre-poll announcement, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar assembly election, pledged that if the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc wins, elected representatives at the panchayat level across the state will receive increased financial support and benefits.
