Baba Siddique, a senior leader of the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and former Maharashtra minister, was shot dead in Mumbai on October 12. The shooting occurred outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s MLA office near Colgate Ground in Nirmal Nagar, Bandra.
