Families continued searching through rubble for missing relatives as official rescue operations were gradually scaled back. Authorities are still working to confirm the number of people who remain unaccounted for. Emergency teams have been clearing debris, assessing unsafe buildings and providing temporary shelter to displaced residents. Venezuela Seeks International Recovery Funds Venezuela’s interim leader Delcy Rodriguez called for the release of Venezuelan financial assets frozen abroad to support relief and reconstruction efforts. The United Nations is seeking approximately $300 million to fund emergency assistance and recovery programmes. Venezuela is also holding discussions with the International Monetary Fund over access to financial assets.
