In his absence, Jasprit Bumrah will step in to lead the team. Team’s Preparations Progress The Indian squad concluded its training at the WACA ground and will begin match drills at the Optus Stadium from Tuesday after a scheduled rest day. Team Physio Kamlesh Jain confirmed Rahul’s fitness, stating, “The key for us was to ensure that there is no fracture. He has responded well to treatments and should be ready to go.” With Bumrah at the helm and Rahul fit, India looks to begin the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on a strong note in Australia.
