Earlier, India had also blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels that were allegedly involved in spreading misinformation and promoting content likely to incite communal unrest. Authorities emphasized the need to restrict the dissemination of false narratives that could destabilize the already sensitive environment following the terror attack. Asif’s Remarks Draw Strong Criticism Khawaja Asif had recently sparked outrage with his public admission during a televised interview, where he openly acknowledged Pakistan’s historical support and funding of terrorist organizations. Indian officials have pointed to this admission as further evidence of Pakistan’s continued involvement in fostering terrorism in the region. In response to such developments, India’s diplomatic representatives have consistently highlighted Pakistan's role in promoting terrorism at international forums, asserting that no amount of denial or deflection can obscure the reality of state-sponsored extremism.
