Khalistani separatists – Bharat Pulse News

The Indian government has accused the Khalistani separatist group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, of attempting to provoke the Christian community in Manipur to seek separation from India. Officials claim that SFJ is exploiting existing tensions in the northeastern state to spread separatist propaganda. "The Khalistani terrorist group Sikhs for Justice, led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, incited Manipur Christians to secede from India." Allegations of Foreign Influence in Manipur Authorities allege that SFJ is deliberately targeting vulnerable communities to destabilize India. The government has condemned the group’s actions, emphasizing that any attempt to undermine national unity will be met with strict measures. Security agencies have been closely monitoring SFJ’s activities, particularly its use of digital platforms to influence public sentiment. Officials warn that such separatist rhetoric can escalate tensions and create further unrest in conflict-prone regions. SFJ’s History of Separatist Activities Sikhs for Justice has long been designated a terrorist organization in India, with its leader, Pannun, known for advocating Khalistan, a separate Sikh state. The group has previously attempted to push for referendums and sought international support for its cause. Despite India's legal and diplomatic efforts to curb SFJ’s influence, the organization continues to operate from abroad, using online propaganda and foreign networks to challenge India's sovereignty. Government’s Response to the Threat The Indian government has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting national integrity and ensuring stability in Manipur. Officials have pledged to counter separatist narratives and prevent external entities from interfering in domestic affairs. Authorities are expected to take strong action against those involved in spreading anti-national sentiments, with increased surveillance and intelligence efforts to neutralize any further attempts to incite unrest.
