Instead, Israeli forces are reportedly narrowing their focus on critical military and energy infrastructure sites, though no final decisions have been made. The timing of Israel’s counterattack could align with the Yom Kippur holiday, but specifics remain uncertain. Hezbollah Escalates Strikes Amid Ongoing Conflict The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has been intensifying over the past year, with the militant group launching numerous rocket strikes on northern Israel since the onset of the Gaza war. Israeli forces have continued to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon, with the Israeli Air Force (IAF) hitting approximately 200 Hezbollah targets over the past day, including rocket launchers and anti-tank missile positions.
