Carrier Liability: Transport companies bringing undocumented individuals into India can be fined up to ₹5 lakh, with potential seizure of their vehicles for non-compliance. Empowered Immigration Authorities The bill authorizes immigration officers to arrest individuals without a warrant if they are found violating immigration laws. Additionally, biometric data collection, including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures, will be mandatory for foreign nationals entering India.
