Dharmendra Pradhan Defends Digital Evaluation The minister defended the On-Screen Marking system as a progressive and student-centric evaluation model aimed at improving transparency. He said 17 lakh students appeared for the exam and CBSE had maintained 98 lakh answer scripts. According to Pradhan, each answer book contains around 40 pages, taking the total number of scanned pages to nearly 40 crore. He said the system is meant to provide students with transparent information about their marks. Strict Action Promised If Irregularities Found Pradhan said no one would be spared if irregularities are found in the evaluation process. He said corrective measures are being taken and technical reviews are underway to address student complaints.
