The Cockroach Janta Party has issued a fresh seven-day deadline demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, warning that its protest campaign will expand across India if no action is taken. CJP Protest Over Dharmendra Pradhan Resignation The group shared visuals from its Saturday protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and described the demonstration as a “trailer” of what could follow if its demand for accountability is not addressed. The protest was centred on alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment processes, with participants calling for Pradhan to step down. Seven-Day Ultimatum To Centre CJP representatives said the Centre now has seven days to act on the demand. The group said Pradhan should either resign or be removed from office, failing which it would intensify its agitation across the country. Organisers claimed supporters from different states had expressed readiness to hold peaceful demonstrations if the government does not respond. Nationwide Agitation Warning By CJP The protest marked a visible street mobilisation by the group, which has gained attention through social media campaigns focused on student issues, examination concerns and youth anger over accountability in the education system. The group has said its future course of action will depend on the response from the Centre within the deadline. Delhi Police had granted permission for the protest at Jantar Mantar, where security arrangements were put in place through the day. The demonstration ended peacefully, but CJP leaders indicated that the movement would continue if their core demand remains unanswered.
