Fresh clashes erupted between youth protesters and police near Jantar Mantar in central Delhi late Wednesday as demonstrators continued demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over examination paper leaks. The movement began following controversy surrounding examination paper leaks, including the NEET-UG case that affected nearly two million candidates. It has since attracted support from Opposition parties, which have raised the issue inside and outside Parliament. Delhi Metro Stations Closed Again Security restrictions were tightened across central Delhi following the latest confrontation. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced the temporary closure of 16 stations in and around the area until further notice. The government has held talks with protest representatives, offered a parliamentary debate and announced examination reforms. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also proposed fast-track courts for paper leak cases. However, protesters continue to insist that these measures do not replace ministerial accountability.
