The United Arab Emirates has said its territory and military bases will not be used for attacks against Iran, as Gulf countries try to avoid being pulled deeper into the widening conflict in West Asia. The statement came from a senior Emirati diplomat, who also repeated the UAE’s call for de-escalation and renewed diplomacy. UAE Rejects Use Of Bases For Iran Strikes Jamal Al Musharakh, the UAE’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva, said Emirati bases are not being used to launch operations against Iran.
