Enhanced Water Safety Measures Given the festival’s traditional bathing rituals along the banks of the Ganga, underwater drones and divers will be stationed to ensure the safety of pilgrims. These drones will assist in monitoring submerged areas, identifying potential hazards, and providing rapid responses in case of emergencies. Infrastructure and Planning Authorities have undertaken extensive infrastructure development projects to accommodate the massive crowd, including new roads, expanded ghats, and additional sanitation facilities. Special attention is being given to transportation and lodging arrangements, ensuring that devotees from across the country and the world have access to essential amenities. Moreover, a dedicated control room has been set up to coordinate efforts across various departments, including health, law enforcement, and disaster management.
