Sundar Pichai On AI Accessibility For Everyone

Sundar Pichai said that the US-India partnership has a “critical role to play” in making the benefits of AI available for everyone, everywhere. He highlighted the need for collective efforts by governments, industry and civil society to ensure AI’s positive outcomes reach broad populations, and stressed that such benefits are not automatic without cooperative action.

Pichai said Google is “proud to serve as a connection point” between India and the United States in advancing AI and related technologies.

AI Infrastructure And Global Collaboration

Pichai noted that Google’s teams in both countries are working seamlessly on significant AI initiatives, underscoring deep collaboration on technology development and deployment. He expressed confidence in India’s “extraordinary trajectory” in AI and said Google supports this with a full-stack commitment that includes products, scaling and infrastructure.

His remarks reflect a broader message that equitable access to AI tools and resources depends on robust international cooperation and shared technology ecosystems.

Vision For Inclusive AI Development

Pichai emphasised that AI should help address global challenges and not deepen divides between countries or communities. He spoke about ensuring access to AI innovation while promoting responsible and inclusive development. The message aligns with growing global focus on making AI technologies beneficial across different regions and demographic groups.

The remarks were made against the backdrop of high-level discussions on AI governance at the summit.
