Sopore Encounter Ends Successfully, Confirms IGP

An encounter in the Gujjarpati, Zaloora area of Sopore has officially concluded. The operation, led by security forces, was launched following credible intelligence about suspected militant activity in the region. Unfortunately, one soldier sustained critical injuries during the exchange of fire and succumbed later. The operation showcased the dedication and bravery of the personnel involved. Speaking about the conclusion of the encounter, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) stated, “The operation is over now.”
