Shashi Tharoor Acknowledges Differences Within Congress Amid Infighting Speculation
Former Union Minister and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has acknowledged recent “differences of opinion” with his party leadership amid rumours of internal divide, but emphasised that these are rooted in constructive dialogue and not personal discord. Speaking in New Delhi, Tharoor asserted that the party remains united and focused on preparing for upcoming elections.

Tharoor clarified that while he may have divergent views on strategy and priorities, these reflect his commitment to strengthening the party, not internal rebellion. He stated, “In any healthy political debate, there will be questions raised around decisions, but that doesn’t make it a split.” He added that his proposals are intended to foster greater grassroots outreach and improve communication with voters.
