RIL Q2 Net Profit Up 10% to ₹18,165 Crore

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹18,165 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, up 10 % compared with ₹16,563 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue also sees growth

Revenue from operations rose roughly 10 % year-on-year to around ₹2.59 lakh crore, driven largely by strong performance in the company’s telecom, retail and digital businesses.

Business segment strengths

The company’s telecom arm achieved significant subscriber growth and value-added services gains. Meanwhile, the retail business expanded its footprint and increased revenue. The oil-to-chemicals segment saw modest revenue growth but improved margins.

Market reaction

Following the results, RIL shares climbed about 3 % in early trade, signalling investor approval of the solid performance across diversified operations.

Looking ahead

Analysts will watch next for guidance on capex, debt levels and growth in newer ventures such as green energy and digital infrastructure to assess whether RIL can sustain the momentum.
