Revanth Reddy Appeals to Naidu for Cooperation

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has made a public appeal to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, urging cooperation on interstate issues and calling for a constructive approach to development. He said political differences should not come in the way of regional growth and mutual interests.

Revanth Reddy stressed that disputes between the two states should be resolved through dialogue rather than confrontation. He underlined the need for coordination on irrigation projects and broader infrastructure planning that affects both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Reference to Amaravati Development

In his remarks, Revanth Reddy said Telangana was willing to extend support for the development of Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. He noted that Hyderabad’s ecosystem, including human resources and industrial capacity, could play a supportive role in Amaravati’s growth if both states worked together.

He described his appeal as a sincere effort to move beyond past tensions and focus on shared benefits for farmers, industries, and citizens on both sides of the border.

Call for Regional Understanding

The Telangana Chief Minister said cooperation between neighbouring states was essential for long-term progress. He reiterated that his government preferred a balanced and cooperative approach over prolonged disputes, especially on issues that have economic and social consequences.
