Reliance Infrastructure Posts ₹4,082.5 Crore Q2 Profit
Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra), led by Anil Ambani, has reported a consolidated net profit of ₹4,082.53 crore for the second quarter of FY25, a significant recovery from a net loss of ₹294.04 crore during the same period last year.
The company attributed the turnaround to exceptional gains of ₹3,575.27 crore, primarily driven by debt settlements and an arbitration claim income of ₹80.97 crore.
Revenue and Expense Analysis
RInfra’s total income slightly dipped to ₹7,345.96 crore, compared to ₹7,373.49 crore in Q2 FY24. However, expenses saw a notable reduction, falling to ₹6,450.38 crore from ₹7,100.66 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Diverse Operations Boost Performance
Reliance Infrastructure operates across several sectors, including engineering and construction (E&C) for power, roads, and metro rail. It also engages in defence and other infrastructure projects through special-purpose vehicles.
The latest results reflect the company’s strategic focus on optimizing expenses while benefiting from key financial settlements, positioning RInfra as a resilient player in India’s infrastructure landscape.
