Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan, Claims Full Range for BrahMos
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday warned that every inch of Pakistani territory is now within the striking range of India’s BrahMos missiles. Speaking at a flag-off ceremony for the first batch of BrahMos missiles produced at the new unit in Lucknow, he called Operation Sindoor “just a trailer” of India’s capabilities.
Milestone in Indigenous Defence Manufacturing
At the Sarojini Nagar facility of BrahMos Aerospace in Uttar Pradesh, Singh alongside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off production of the first missiles made there, underscoring India’s push for defence self-reliance under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative.
Strategic Message to Pakistan
Singh’s remarks signal a robust deterrence posture: he emphasized that victory “has become a habit” and India’s advanced missile systems have shifted the strategic calculus for its neighbour. Observers note this comes amid heightened border tensions with Pakistan and India’s growing emphasis on indigenous weapons.
