Rahul Gandhi Says Modi Is Scared Amid Vote Allegations

Addressing a gathering during the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Motihari, Rahul Gandhi asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “scared” because his alleged vote-theft has been exposed nationwide. Gandhi claimed the PM’s silence signals awareness of wrongdoing and called vote theft an assault on the Constitution. He added that the response from Bihari voters has visibly shaken the Prime Minister.

Broader “Vote Chori” Accusations

Rahul Gandhi expanded his accusations beyond Bihar, referencing similar alleged vote manipulation in constituencies across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. These assertions reflect the Congress’s campaign strategy to challenge electoral fairness across multiple states.

BJP Pushback Intensifies

In retaliation, the BJP condemned Gandhi’s remarks as disrespectful and inflammatory. Party leaders accused him of baselessly attacking democratic norms and resorting to abusive rhetoric during the yatra. A viral video showing offensive language allegedly directed at Modi and his late mother intensified the controversy, though the video’s authenticity remains unverified.
