President Murmu highlighted India’s robust 6.5% GDP growth in the last fiscal year, underscoring the nation’s standing as the fastest-growing major economy. She praised domestic achievements in technology, infrastructure, and defence — pointing to recent successes in indigenous defence manufacturing as evidence of growing self-sufficiency.

Operation Sindoor and Unity

She described “Operation Sindoor” — India’s decisive action following the Pahalgam terror attack — as a bold example of strategic clarity and unity. The operation showcased India’s readiness and self-reliance, meriting recognition as a symbol of humanity’s resolve against terrorism.

Constitutional Values and Social Inclusion

The President reaffirmed the foundational values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, emphasizing India’s commitment to human dignity and inclusive progress. She noted improvements in healthcare, education, and regional development across the country.

Call to Action

President Murmu urged citizens to support the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by promoting local goods and services. She appealed especially to the youth to play an active role in shaping a stronger, self-sufficient India, and reiterated the goal of realizing a developed nation by 2047.
