PM Modi Urges Youth to Lead India Towards ‘Viksit Bharat’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on the youth of India to take the lead in transforming the nation into a “Viksit Bharat” (developed India) by 2047. Addressing young citizens during a recent event, he emphasized the pivotal role they play in shaping the country’s future and urged them to discard the complacent ‘Chalta Hai’ (it’s okay) attitude.

A Call for Ownership

Highlighting the significance of the youth in achieving the nation’s development goals, PM Modi stressed the need for proactive participation in various fields. “The youth must take ownership of India’s progress. This is not just a government effort; it requires collective will and determination,” he stated.

The Prime Minister encouraged young Indians to dream big, take bold steps, and contribute actively to the nation’s growth. He underscored that the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance must become the hallmark of India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.

Warning Against Complacency

PM Modi also cautioned against the ‘Chalta Hai’ mindset, which he described as a roadblock to progress. “This attitude weakens our resolve and hampers our ability to reach our full potential. Every small effort, when combined, leads to significant achievements,” he added.

The Prime Minister highlighted examples of sectors where Indian youth have already made a mark globally, including technology, startups, and space exploration. He emphasized the need to sustain this momentum across other industries and areas of national interest.

Vision 2047: A Developed India

PM Modi’s vision for a “Viksit Bharat” includes a robust economy, advanced infrastructure, enhanced global influence, and improved quality of life for every citizen. He urged the youth to view this as not just a goal but a shared mission.

He further encouraged young individuals to adopt a forward-looking approach and embrace challenges as opportunities. “Your actions today will determine the India of tomorrow,” PM Modi remarked.

Empowering the Next Generation

The Prime Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering the youth through initiatives such as Skill India, Digital India, and Startup India. He emphasized that these programs are designed to provide a platform for young Indians to innovate, lead, and contribute to the country’s transformation.

PM Modi’s address serves as a motivational call for the youth to become active participants in India’s journey towards development. His emphasis on ownership and shedding complacency resonates with the broader vision of creating a nation that stands tall on the global stage by 2047.
