In a separate conversation, the Prime Minister also spoke with Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. The discussion focused on the evolving security environment and its implications for residents, including Indian nationals.
The Prime Minister expressed concern over the recent incidents and emphasised the importance of safeguarding civilians. Kuwait hosts a large number of Indian expatriates, making their safety a key priority in bilateral engagements.

Both calls underlined India’s ongoing coordination with Gulf leadership to monitor developments and respond to emerging risks. The Prime Minister reviewed the welfare mechanisms in place for Indians and reiterated India’s commitment to protecting its citizens abroad.
