Emphasis on Teamwork and Discipline
Addressing players and officials during the inauguration, the Prime Minister highlighted volleyball as a sport that teaches teamwork, coordination, and discipline. He added that sports play an important role in building confidence among youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Reference to Olympic Ambitions
During his address, Modi reiterated India’s ambition to host the Olympic Games in 2036, stating that the country is steadily building the capacity and experience needed to organise global sporting events.
