Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the BJP’s decisive victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections, calling it a “historic verdict” and a rejection of the opposition’s negative politics.
Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters, PM Modi emphasized that the results reflect the people’s preference for stability, development, and good governance over divisive and dynastic politics.
“Maharashtra Rejects Negative Politics”
PM Modi stated, “Maharashtra has witnessed the triumph of development, good governance, and genuine social justice. The forces of deception, divisive politics, and family dynasties have been defeated. Maharashtra has strengthened its resolve for a developed India.”
He further added that the BJP’s victory marks Maharashtra as the sixth state to elect the party for a third consecutive term, joining Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.
The Prime Minister attributed the BJP’s success to the trust of voters across all segments of society, stating that people are aligning with the sentiment of “nation first.” He took a strong dig at the Congress party, accusing it of misleading voters through.
