PM Modi Greeted By Huge Crowds In Udupi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by large crowds in Udupi on Friday as he held a roadshow from Bannanje to Kalsanka. Thousands of people gathered along the route, waving flags and cheering as his convoy passed. Visit To Sri Krishna Mutt And Gita Event
Modi’s visit included a stop at the historic Sri Krishna Mutt, where he was scheduled to take part in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana — a large devotional event aiming for one lakh people chanting the Bhagavad Gita together. He was also expected to inaugurate the newly constructed Suvarna Teertha Mantapa and dedicate the golden cover for the Kanakana Kindi, a sacred window at the temple.
