Abdullah urged National Conference legislators and party colleagues to stop approaching senior leaders seeking Cabinet positions.

He said he had received numerous telephone calls, WhatsApp messages and lengthy personal profiles from politicians seeking ministerial appointments.

The Chief Minister emphasised that further lobbying would not influence decisions because the list had already been finalised.

He appealed to party members to remain patient until the official announcement.

Meeting With Manoj Sinha Covers Government Matters

Abdullah said his meeting with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also covered administrative issues requiring consultation between the elected government and the Lieutenant Governor’s office.

He explained that the meeting provided an opportunity to enquire about Sinha’s health following his recent illness.

The proposed Cabinet expansion represents an important administrative development for the National Conference-led government as it prepares to announce changes in ministerial responsibilities.
