New Zealand Beat India in 2nd ODI at Rajkot
New Zealand defeated India by seven wickets in the second One Day International (ODI) of the three-match series at Rajkot on Wednesday, leveling the series 1-1.

India scored 284 for 7 in their 50 overs. KL Rahul led the innings with an unbeaten 112, his first ODI century against New Zealand and the first ODI hundred by an Indian wicketkeeper at Rajkot. Shubman Gill made a useful contribution with fifty before being dismissed.
Strong Chase by New Zealand
Chasing 285, New Zealand reached the target in 47.3 overs with Daryl Mitchell unbeaten on 131 and *Will Young scoring 87. The pair shared a big partnership after early setbacks, steering their side to victory with 15 balls to spare. Mitchell’s century was the highest individual score of the match and earned him Player of the Match honours.
Series Now Level
The win brought New Zealand back into the series after losing the first ODI. The third and final ODI will decide the series when the teams meet next.
