Mumbai Airport Receives ACI’s Highest Level of Airport Customer Experience Accreditation

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai has achieved the prestigious Level 4+ Airport Customer Experience Accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI). This makes it the first airport in India and only the third in the world to receive this distinguished recognition.

A Landmark Achievement in Airport Service

The ACI Level 4+ Accreditation is the highest honor for airports globally, acknowledging their consistent focus on improving customer experiences, operational efficiency, and passenger satisfaction. CSMIA’s commitment to providing seamless service and enhancing the passenger journey played a significant role in earning this accreditation.

Commitment to Excellence

The accreditation process evaluates airports based on their efforts to understand customer needs, implement actionable strategies, and measure outcomes effectively. Mumbai Airport’s adoption of technology-driven initiatives and passenger-centric services, coupled with its ability to adapt to dynamic customer expectations, helped it meet ACI’s rigorous standards.

Setting Global Standards

This recognition places CSMIA alongside only two other airports globally to achieve Level 4+ status, setting a benchmark for customer experience in the aviation sector. The airport continues to focus on enhancing its services, ensuring every traveler experiences convenience, comfort, and safety.

Driving Sustainability

In addition to customer service, CSMIA has made significant efforts in sustainability. Its shift to 100% green energy and various environmentally conscious initiatives demonstrate its leadership in aligning passenger services with environmental stewardship.

With this milestone, CSMIA reinforces its role as a global leader in customer experience and sustainability, contributing to India’s growing reputation in world-class aviation infrastructure.
