Modi Warns Pakistan: End Terror or Face Bullets
During a fiery address at rallies in Dahod and Bhuj in Gujarat on May 26, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued one of his sharpest warnings yet to Pakistan, in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. He declared that India’s patience with terrorism had reached its limit and made it clear that the cost of perpetuating violence would be heavy.
Modi’s Warning to Pakistan
Modi called upon the people of Pakistan directly, saying: “I want to tell the people of Pakistan, especially those who are sitting with dreams of spreading terror, drop your weapons. Come forward for peace, or else be ready to face the bullets.” He emphasized that India would no longer tolerate the export of terror across its borders.
The message was aimed not just at the Pakistani state machinery, but also at its citizens. Modi urged them to realize the grave consequences of supporting a government that fuels instability in the region. He reinforced that India’s national security is non-negotiable and that responses to threats would be immediate and resolute.
Operation Sindoor as a Turning Point
Modi cited the success of Operation Sindoor as proof of India’s enhanced capabilities and determination to protect its people. “The action we took was not just a show of strength. It was a reply on behalf of 140 crore Indians who will not stay silent anymore,” he declared.
He reminded the audience that the operation was a strategic and moral assertion of India’s right to defend itself and its citizens. Modi framed it as not just military retaliation but as a public message to enemies that the time of appeasement and restraint was over.
Pakistan’s Path to Peace or Isolation
In his speech, Modi also issued a caution to the Pakistani establishment, stating that the people of Pakistan must now choose—peace through cooperation or international isolation and internal collapse. He made it clear that India would welcome a sincere commitment to peace, but would respond unflinchingly to any act of provocation.
The rally concluded with a reaffirmation of India’s policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and an appeal to the global community to recognize and support India’s right to defend itself proactively.
