Mahindra’s BE 6 Batman Edition Sells Out in 135 Seconds
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition, a special limited-edition electric SUV inspired by the Dark Knight trilogy, sold out in just 135 seconds after bookings opened at 11 am. Mahindra initially limited production to 300 units but later increased it to 999 due to high demand. All units were booked within minutes.
Design and Features of the Batman Edition
The Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant and is priced at ₹27.79 lakh ex-showroom, about ₹90,000 more than the standard Pack Three. It features satin black paint with alchemy gold accents, Batman-themed emblems on hub caps and bumpers, and special lighting elements. Inside, the SUV offers suede-leather upholstery with gold stitching, an embossed Bat logo, a numbered dashboard plaque, and an animated Batman-themed welcome screen.
Booking Details and Delivery
Customers had the option to choose badge numbers between 001 and 999, though numbers were not exclusive. Deliveries for the Batman Edition will begin on September 20, coinciding with International Batman Day, adding to the edition’s symbolic appeal.
