Maharashtra Assembly Backs Bharat Ratna for Phule Couple
The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution urging the central government to confer the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, on renowned social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule.
