Left Parties Celebrate India–China Breakthrough

Left-wing parties in India have welcomed the recent improvement in ties between New Delhi and Beijing during the SCO Summit in Tianjin. Leaders described the progress on border management, trade cooperation, and the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as important signals of diplomatic progress between the two countries.

Symbol of Regional Solidarity

The Communist Party of India (CPI) and other Left leaders said the breakthrough represents a step toward strengthening peace and stability in Asia. They added that closer ties between India and China would reinforce solidarity within the Global South and reduce dependence on Western-led blocs.

Broader Strategic Importance

Party officials also underlined that the latest developments mark an opportunity for both nations to rebuild trust after years of border tension. They urged the government to continue engaging China through dialogue, trade expansion, and people-to-people exchanges, calling the moment a rare chance for cooperation in an unsettled global environment.
