Khalistani Leader Gosal Gets Bail, Issues Threat
Inderjeet Singh Gosal, accused in Canada of being linked to pro-Khalistan activities, was released on bail within a week of his arrest.
Threat Issued Publicly
Shortly after his release, Gosal appeared in a video making threats toward India’s National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, and declared support for the movement led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
Charges Against Gosal
Gosal was originally arrested on firearms-related charges in Canada. He has been associated with the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organisation and regarded by some sources as Pannun’s security aide.
Diplomatic Sensitivities
The incident may raise fresh tensions between India and Canada. India has in past raised concerns about Khalistani elements operating abroad. Analysts say such statements can complicate legal and diplomatic proceedings, especially if the threat is interpreted as transnational intimidation.
