
JeM Claims Pak Chief Ordered Officers to Attend Sindoor Funerals
Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) commander Ilyas Kashmiri has alleged that Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir directed senior officers to attend the funerals of terrorists killed during India’s Operation Sindoor.

According to Kashmiri, corps commanders were instructed to be present in uniform at the funeral processions. He claimed that the terrorists were honoured with military protocol, including a final salute.
Operation Sindoor Context
Operation Sindoor was carried out on May 7, when India launched precision strikes targeting multiple terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Locations struck reportedly included Bahawalpur and Muridke. The operation was in retaliation to the terror attack in Pahalgam.
