IRGC Claims New Attacks On Israel, US Bases
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had launched what it described as the 80th wave of attacks against Israel and US military positions in the region, signalling another sharp escalation in the conflict. According to Iranian state-linked reporting, the operation included missile strikes aimed at northern and central Israeli locations as well as American military facilities in Gulf states. Independent confirmation of the full extent of the claimed damage was not immediately available.
IRGC Claims New Missile Wave Against Israel
In its statement, the IRGC said it targeted a military base in Safed in northern Israel along with locations in Tel Aviv, Kiryat Shmona and Bnei Brak. The latest announcement adds to a series of Iranian claims about repeated strike waves under its ongoing retaliatory campaign. Israeli authorities have previously reported interceptions and impacts in several urban areas during recent rounds of attacks.
US Bases In Gulf Region Named As Targets
The IRGC also said US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain were targeted in the latest operation. The claim points to a widening theatre of confrontation, with Iran increasingly presenting American regional assets as direct targets alongside Israel. Reports from the region have indicated heightened air defence activity and alerts around key military and infrastructure sites in recent days.
Conflict Escalation Raises Regional Risks
The new strike claim comes at a time when diplomatic messaging and military escalation are unfolding side by side. While there have been public signals about possible talks involving Iran and the United States, the battlefield situation remains volatile. Any direct or sustained targeting of US bases in multiple countries would significantly deepen the regional security crisis and raise concerns about broader instability across West Asia.
