Ireland pulled off a remarkable 69-run victory over South Africa in the final ODI at Abu Dhabi, marking only their second win against the Proteas in 11 meetings.
Despite a valiant 91 from South African all-rounder Jason Smith, Ireland’s clinical performance, particularly in the opening and closing stages, proved too much for the Proteas, helping Ireland finish the series on a high.
