Iran Warns of Wider Retaliation Against US
Iranian military officials have issued strong warnings in response to recent statements by US President Donald Trump, signalling that any further American or Israeli military action could trigger sustained retaliation across the region. The latest remarks underline Tehran’s attempt to project readiness for a broader conflict while reinforcing its claim that it can target both US-linked infrastructure and Israeli assets if hostilities expand.
Iran Retaliation Warning to US and Israel
Major-General Ali Abdolahi, commander at Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters, said that if the United States or Israel carried out further aggression, Iran would respond without limitation. His statement said Tehran would target infrastructure used by US forces as well as key facilities linked to Israel. The language reflects a familiar Iranian position that any direct escalation will be met with attacks beyond the immediate battlefield.
Khatam al-Anbiya Threatens Regional Escalation
Earlier, a spokesman for Khatam al-Anbiya warned that if the conflict widened, the entire region could be drawn into the fallout. He said the belief that Iran could be easily defeated had turned into a strategic trap for its adversaries. The remarks were framed as both a warning and a message of deterrence, aimed at showing that Iran believes it retains the capacity to raise the cost of war for both Washington and Tel Aviv.
Iran Military Response Signals Broader Conflict Risk
The statements suggest that Iran is once again leaning on the threat of regional escalation as part of its military messaging. The focus on infrastructure and long-range retaliation indicates that Tehran wants to signal an ability to inflict pain not only through direct strikes but also by widening the zone of confrontation. That raises fresh concern that any new round of attacks could quickly spill into a much larger regional crisis.
