Iran Launches Fresh Strikes Across Region

Iran launched a fresh wave of missile and drone strikes in the last few hours, targeting Israel and US-linked positions across the Middle East as the regional conflict entered another intense phase. Iranian state media described the barrage as the heaviest since the start of the war, while several countries in the Gulf activated air defence systems and emergency alerts.

Iran Launches New Missile Strikes

Israeli authorities said missiles were launched from Iran toward Israeli territory, triggering air raid sirens and shelter warnings in multiple areas. The military later said the immediate threat had eased and that civilians could leave protected spaces. The latest salvo came amid continued exchanges between Iran and Israel, with both sides reporting new attacks over the past 24 hours.

Gulf States Respond To Iran Drone Threat

Saudi Arabia said its air defences intercepted and destroyed two drones heading toward an oil field, highlighting the risk to regional energy infrastructure as the conflict widens. In Bahrain, warning sirens were also activated after incoming aerial threats were detected. Bahrain hosts the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, making it one of the most strategically sensitive locations in the Gulf during the ongoing crisis.

Middle East Conflict Expands Across Region

The latest Iranian strikes underline how the war is increasingly affecting not only Israel but also Gulf states that host US military assets or key oil infrastructure. Regional governments have remained on high alert as missile and drone attacks raise fears of further military escalation and greater disruption to shipping, fuel supplies and civilian life. The new wave of attacks also comes at a time of heightened pressure on energy markets, with every strike around the Gulf adding to concerns over wider instability.
