IndiGo Goa-Delhi Flight Returns After Engine Snag
An IndiGo flight from Goa to Delhi made an emergency return to Manohar International Airport on Tuesday morning after a technical issue was detected shortly after takeoff. All passengers disembarked safely after the aircraft landed back in Goa.

IndiGo flight 6E 2102 departed North Goa for Delhi at around 9.16 am on September 1.
Shortly after takeoff, an issue involving one of the aircraft’s engines was reported. The pilots informed the relevant authorities and turned the aircraft back towards Goa in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Air Traffic Control briefly declared a full emergency as the aircraft prepared to return.
Flight Lands Safely at Manohar International Airport
The aircraft landed safely on Runway 28 at approximately 9.51 am and was subsequently parked at Stand 6.
The full emergency was terminated shortly after 10 am. All passengers were safely deboarded and accommodated in the terminal while further arrangements were made.
Flight-tracking data indicated that the aircraft had climbed to around 14,000 feet before turning back towards Goa from over the coast of southern Maharashtra.
IndiGo Aircraft Undergoes Maintenance Checks
IndiGo said the aircraft was undergoing maintenance inspections and would return to service only after obtaining all required technical clearances.
The airline arranged refreshments and updates for affected passengers and made alternative travel arrangements to help them reach Delhi.
