Indian Airlines Plan 58 Middle East Flights

Indian airlines are planning to operate 58 flights to destinations in the Middle East as services gradually resume amid disruptions caused by the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Authorities said carriers are adjusting schedules while closely monitoring airspace restrictions and safety conditions across the region.

Indian Airlines Schedule 58 Flights To Gulf Region

Government officials said Indian carriers are planning a total of 58 flights to Gulf destinations on March 4 as part of efforts to restore connectivity. The scheduled operations include around 30 flights by IndiGo and 23 flights by Air India and Air India Express, while other airlines are operating a smaller number of services depending on operational feasibility.

Airlines are restoring flights in phases after the escalation of the conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States led to widespread disruptions across Middle Eastern airspace. Several regional airspaces remain partially restricted, requiring airlines to carefully plan flight paths and schedules.

Officials said airlines are coordinating with aviation authorities to ensure safe operations while gradually reinstating services.

Middle East Conflict Disrupts Aviation Routes

The conflict in West Asia has significantly affected global aviation routes, particularly those connecting South Asia with the Gulf region and Europe. Airspace closures and heightened security risks forced airlines to cancel or reroute multiple flights over the past several days.

Authorities said the disruptions have impacted a large number of scheduled international flights, affecting thousands of passengers travelling between India and Middle Eastern destinations. Airlines have been continuously reviewing schedules and issuing updates as the situation evolves.

Additional Flights To Support Passenger Movement

Airlines are also deploying additional flights from major Gulf hubs to assist passengers affected by earlier cancellations and disruptions. These services are intended to accommodate stranded travellers and maintain essential connectivity between India and Middle Eastern countries.

Aviation authorities have advised passengers to regularly check airline announcements and travel advisories as flight schedules may change depending on airspace availability and security assessments.
