India Seal ODI Series With Big Win
India defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the third ODI at Visakhapatnam to claim the series 2–1. The home side delivered a complete performance, combining disciplined bowling with a strong batting effort, to chase down the target with ease.
Kuldeep And Prasidh Take Four Wickets Each
After choosing to bowl first, India struck regularly through Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna. Both bowlers returned figures of four wickets each, breaking South Africa’s middle order and ensuring they were bowled out for 270 in 47.5 overs. Despite a fighting century from Quinton de Kock, the visitors struggled to build partnerships as wickets fell at key moments.
Jaiswal Hits Maiden ODI Century
India’s chase was built around an outstanding unbeaten century from Yashasvi Jaiswal. He scored 116 not out off 121 balls, marking his maiden ODI hundred. Rohit Sharma added 75, and Virat Kohli finished 65 not out as India reached 271/1 comfortably inside 40 overs. Their controlled batting made the target look straightforward.
All-Round Performance Secures Series
The match highlighted India’s depth, with bowling pressure up front and a calm batting display later. Young players and experienced names both contributed, giving India a confident series win ahead of upcoming fixtures.
