India Rebukes Pakistan Over ‘Dump Truck’ Metaphor At UN

At the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, India rejected Pakistan’s criticism, calling its own “dump truck” metaphor “inadvertently apt.” Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi said Pakistan “continues to deposit recycled falsehoods and stale propaganda” before the forum.

References To Terrorism

Tyagi recalled recent attacks like Pahalgam, Uri, Pathankot, and Pulwama, which he said were supported or sponsored from across the border. He also referenced 9/11 and said that those who sheltered its mastermind cannot feign moral high ground.

Pakistan’s Accusations Noted

Pakistan had earlier made remarks at the Council accusing India of human rights violations. India’s reply accused Pakistan of hypocrisy, saying it should not lecture about rights while allegedly supporting terrorist networks.

Sovereignty And Credibility

Tyagi stressed that India would continue to defend its sovereignty and exposed what it called the “elaborate deception of a failed state whose survival depends upon trafficking in terror and tragedy.” India rejected advice or lessons from Pakistan, saying it lacks credibility.
